Sh!t or get off the Pot! Time to Get these Projects Rolled out!!

It’s a brand new year! 2015 will be……..wait for it…..legendary! I am just quickly dropping a line to all my peeps about new, exciting projects that I am working on and how I can’t wait to share with them all with everyone. I have decided to focus and pursue my art career, which is complimentary to my already-existing professional writing and marketing business. In a couple weeks, be prepared to see all the art pieces I have finished and available for purchase. I am also proud to announce that my sister and I will be opening up a production studio and rolling out a couple of entertaining projects we are sure you will enjoy. One project has been a long awaited animated idea that has been in the works for my sister for years and I’m excited to help produce, and showcase her witty, edgy series that will surely leave you in tears of laughter.

Stay tuned and vigilant the following few weeks for our new, polished websites featuring our new projects and current ones that we are so diligently creating for your entertainment pleasure.

I’ve also taken on a challenge of a “a doodle a day” or a drawing a day to keep the creative and artistic juices flowing daily, which will all be in part of my magnus opus or at the very least inspire a few masterpieces. My daily doodles will be featured on my art blog and website that will be going live and I’ll be posing the link here in a couple of days. But here’s the first one, which spawned from a simple scribble from a red prismacolor marker on paper from my art journal. I just added a bit of shadowing, highlights and other subtle details. As always, I played around making it into a cautionary Valentine’s Day poster through PicsArt but I have misplaced the file to share :o(

Here’s the original doodle, Day #1.

I call it “empty heart”, I can be a bit of a cynic at times.20150128_180801

Cowardly With a Chance of Shadeballs

No, this is not the weather forecast or the newest animated movie hitting theatres but it does seem to accurately describe Albuquerque’s social climate.

So what prompted this post? As always there’s something or someone that sets me off and inspiring me to vent to my peeps on my blog. Lately, I’ve been astounded, disappointed, confused just overall just emotionally mixed up from an influx of people’s horrendous behavior recently. I’m in awe and at the same time disgusted by how people treat one another here in Albuquerque. I wish I could say, well actually I’m happy to say that this is not an accurate portrayal of humanity as a whole but a small, insignificant sliver of man kind found in the middle of the desert in New Mexico.

I’m not sure what it is that makes the inhabitants of this small city so miserable, bitter and profoundly hateful toward anyone that is happy with life and themselves. Maybe its boredom or a sense of lack that these individuals are feeling. Sadly, such feelings of insecurity and inferiority are detrimental and even dangerous. It has taken a toll on the community, affecting it in a negative way. In having an inferiority complex toward another person or groups of people leads to prejudice and harmful acts against another human being. Such acts can range from cruel jokes to bullying, which can escalate to mental and physical harm or even death.

Every day I experience or learn of some fucked up thing someone did. I still get surprised and left confused upon knowing about some shit that has happened. You’d think by now I would be used to this kind of living and accept it as norm. But I can’t, especially when these acts don’t sit very well with me and never will because I’m not this way and, fortunately enough not everyone shares those negative sentiments outside this small hell.

So, all I can do is move (which I plan on doing here sometime in the not-so distant future) or in the meantime try to help others see the positive things in their life. I will continue to contribute and give back through random acts of kindness in hopes that others will follow suit. In addition, I will spread the word one-on one with the people I meet and encounter every day as well as globally through my writing on various different platforms online and offline.

It all starts with one person with an idea or ideal they want to share and spread with the world. With perseverance and tenacity that person can touch many others. It will be those others that will get involved and in turn go on to affecting many more people where this ideal will grow exponentially.

So, haters quit your hating! Love yourself and start making better use of your time in enjoying and loving life rather than wasting your energy on tormenting someone else to fill a void or emptiness you feel inside. The answer is not in destroying or sabotaging another person or even yourself but to introspectively focus on the cause of your hateful behavior and change it. Upon bringing this change internally will you see positive change externally in your environment, in how other people treat you and in overall change in how you view the outside world.

Check out and practice the Buddhist way of living and path to lifelong happiness. You can Google and learn effective techniques online, or read books on the topic but I will be providing further resources to reference through my blog. I’ll provide a list of recommended books, websites, and more information in future articles I will write.

My friends, we are on this journey called life and we all want to be happy. We, whether on a conscious or subconscious level are motivated and act on attaining said happiness or bliss. It’s how we act on it that matters. So lets make it matter by being happy and sharing that happiness in a
positive, effective way!

KEEP YOUR HEAD UP ALBUQUERQUE!!!!

One thing I Don’t Understand About Men

I love men. In fact, I much prefer the company of men to women actually. However, that does not negate the fact there is a little something I don’t understand about the ma species. That is how they have complete disregard, disrespect and an overall lackk of consideration toward others, especially to the female population.

I can go on and on how men think their shit don’t stink and kings and even counter on how woman are evil, vicious, vindictive creatures. I will later and give my two cents on women on a later post. But for the sake of brevity I’m going to focus on a particular way men can just forget that women don’t view sex like they do and there’s proper conduct post sexual encounters with the other sex. I do hope to gain more insight and learn this appaling and confusing behavior by a lot of men.

I don’t understand how a man can sleep with a woman and then introduce another female into the social mix with out the other women or both feeling used and a last resort. In a situation like this, regardless what kind of prior arrangement was made, fellas keep the ladies you are f#@^& apart! No matter what a woman says she is going to feel bad about herself and feel like trash that has been tossed out.

My friend recently experienced such a thoughtless, senseless act today and I was extremely pissed myself. As if it was personally done to me. Well, I have been in her situation but more sadly I have experienced something similar with  my husband. No there wasn’t cheating or anything but I may or may not touch on it on a later date. I want to have a good day and any time I start thinking something my love of my life did that hurt me it turns into a long, pissed off repetitive rant that leaves me feeling stupid, fuming mad and /rejected.

So yeah, why do guys like to intermingle women they are banging?

VA Appointed Payee Denying Veteran and his Family Money From His Own Hard-earned Pension!

image

Jennifer Hanson, Decades Group LLC, Albuquerque office, 505-345-5529; jhanson@decadesgroup.com.Trusted and VA appointed payee mishandling funds and denying a Veteran’s family money they need to survive.

Many Veterans rely on the benefits they have earned by dedicating their lives, commiting their time and along with sacrifices such as time lost from family that they can never get back, the physical wear and tear on their bodies, the stress, PTSD and mental anguish they endure on duty. The harsh detrimental events Veterans sustain does not only affect them while serving but long after they finish rendering many of them permanently disabled. Has America forgotten those disabled Vets that were once strong willed, strong minded and full of life? Do they serve no purpose now because they have been rendered physically and/or mentally disabled? Is it fair, America that these Americans’ gave up everything they had to protect their country only to be tossed aside and forgotten like yesterday’s trash?

It’s a travesty and unjust to deny Disabled Vets of the benefits they so rightfully deserve. No amount of money can bring back those who lost limbs, endured and survived unimaginable bodily harm and mental sacrifice. Those honored Americans can never regain what was lost. To add insult to injury, on top of what they gave up for our freedom they are neglected, forgotten, abused and unheard.

I would like to act as a voice for those Disabled Vets and take a stand for what is right. Not only does this injustice affect what is  near and dear to my heart its a wide-spread problem throughout the United States. Thousands of Americans have fallen victim and subject to negligent and fraudulent acts sanctioned by the VA itself.

On the VA website it claims it is making changes to better serve their Veterans by restructuring the way they operate and communicate in its department. In our experience, not much has changed, if anything it has exacerbated the issue creating a unfathomable nightmare for America’s Vets. This nightmare is the assigning and entrusting a Veteran’s disability pension to a third-party, such as a financial management company. One would be led to believe that these companies, these limited liability corporations would professionally manage, care and have their client, the Veteran’s interest at hand. Shamefully, the opposite is what reigns true for many ill-fated Amercans that are left with no choice but to withstand the misery and abuse many suffer with these unscrupulous companies.

In our family’s case, I regretfully have to detail that we have been wronged and a victim to someone the VA promised we could trust. Our field examiner, Israel Hendricks who swore he had our best interests in mind in his decision to appoint Jennifer Hanson, the unstrustworthy woman who has been mishandling and misappropriating our funds since November of last year. No one can imagine the nightmare this woman has put us and our children through while the VA stood close by ignoring our suffering.

Since that fateful November, we have experienced nothing but abuse, neglect and hateful treatment from Ms. Hanson and her staff. Based on their professional conduct, or lack their of their values to act unethically and fraudently in handling their clients money. They take advantage that their clients comprise of individuals that have no voice of their own and require assistance due to being elderly, mentally or disabled in some way. They lazily mishandle funds, avoiding client face and phone time down to very minimal,    intermittant and inconsistent contact via email. When put on the hot seat or questioned regarding aspect of the account, the staff would dodge communication and have conflicting stories and explanations to the matter at hand.  Jennifer Hanson and accounting member, Nancy Arp would have their secretary, Denise lie and say they were in contstant meetings, out of the office when they felt pressured when questioned. Each time both Ms. Hanson and Ms Arp would change their story each time, and never take accountability when at fault but would shift blame to outside parties such as the bank or even us.

For months we have begged and pleaded with Mr. Hendricks, our local office, our regional office, customer service, and written to a congressional committee for the Department of Veterans Affairs that oversee these issues. But to avail our family’s cries have fallen to deaf ears and uncaring hearts.

The hellish nightmare that Jennifer Hanson, trusted payee from the Albuquerque office of Decades LLC has put our family and most likely other voiceless customers through is not sickening but unlawful. With the help of Americans that care about our Veterans and are willing to take a strong stand then and only then will justice prevail and our story heard.

Stay connected for our detailed and painful story will follow shortly to serve as an sample of what many Veterans are dealing with along with our request for your support.
